The Education Planners was created and developed by Joseph Navarro M.A. Ed. School Counseling - Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) to provide students and parents with resources for social emotional, education and career development. Our mobile classroom has provided instruction for Pasadena City College, Rio Hondo College, the Boys & Girls Clubs of La Habra and several Middle School and High schools in Los Angeles and Orange County. As a substitute teacher and consultant I have worked directly with at risk populations that include Foster Youth, McKinney Vento, Probation Youth and I have trained Foster Parents, Group Home Staff and parent groups. My instruction includes the use of the best practices from the most up to date curriculum including: Mindfulness Training, Restorative Practices & Motivational Interviewing.

The Education Planners are A Title 1 Approved vendor through LAUSD and I continue to provide consulting work at North Hollywood High School-Home Engineering Academy where I have assisted hundreds of students prepare for and apply to post secondary education and career opportunities.
