With over fifteen years working in higher education Joseph Navarro created The Education Planners and developed the Education Plan and Career Plan as supplemental tools to assist individuals in accomplishing their personal educational and career goals. His work includes providing education and career resources for LAUSD, Charter High Schools, Foster Youth and Group Homes. Joseph has also provided services for the Cash for College, Los Angeles Urban League, The Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Westwood College-Torrance, Pacific College, Bristol University, Larson Training Centers, Cerritos College-Foster & Kinship Care Education, Pasadena City College-Foster & Kinship Care Education and Trinity Group Home.

Our Education Plan is a personalized portfolio that can include identifying a career goal or choosing a major, college applications (Cal State, UC, Community College, out of state), financial aid (FAFSA, Dream Act, AB540), scholarships, transcript evaluations and internship opportunities. Our workshops also provide Academic, Financial Aid, and Career counseling.
What is a Career Plan? Our Career Plan can include a resume, cover letter, letter of recommendation, human resource contacts and statistics on earning potential. The Education Planners will show you how to navigate your career path through the use of social networking and professional associations. We will also have you meet with an industry expert working in the career field you are interested in joining.
